Thanks to funding through the GRIT Project and Future Plans, remote work centers provide essential access to technology for individuals who may not have it at home. These centers are equipped with high-speed internet, and various tools necessary for remote work.
Workspaces are available for daily, regular work schedules or for those who need an occasional drop-in workspace to meet with clients or work independently. Additional team spaces are available at some locations.
WHY CONSIDER REMOTE WORK?
Remote work, also known as telecommuting or working from home, means doing your job from a location outside of a traditional office environment. This could be from your home, a local library, or any place with internet access. Remote work allows you to perform your job duties without commuting to a central workplace.
Flexibility
Remote work can offer flexible hours, allowing you a better work and home life balance.
Cost Savings
By working from home, you save on commuting costs, such as fuel, car maintenance, and public transportation fees. Additionally, you may spend less on work attire and meals.
Access to Opportunities
Remote work opens doors to jobs that might not be available locally. You can work for companies anywhere in the country or even internationally.
